Dry Food Ration Drive: A Lifeline for the Underprivileged During the Pandemic
Amid the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nora Soloman Foundation and the Baptist Church Trust Association India (BCTA) collaborated on a noble initiative – the Dry Food Ration Drive. This initiative aimed to provide essential sustenance to the underprivileged, especially daily wagers and individuals who had lost their jobs and resources to feed their families.
Dry Food Ration Drive by Nora Soloman Foundation and BCTA was jointly conducted for the benefit of the underprivileged throughout the pandemic period wherein a month’s rations enough for a family unit was handed out to daily wagers and people who had lost jobs and run out of resources to feed their families. This distribution was done through BCTA Staff, Delhi Minorities Commission, Delhi Police, RPF and NGOs who lent a helping hand in reaching aid to the needy.
