Sankalp Women's Alliance For Action On Ground (SWAAG)

Welcome to the dynamic Women’s Ministry of the Baptist Church Trust Association (BCTA) – SWAAG, an acronym for Sankalp Women’s Alliance for Action on Ground. Our passion is rooted in creating a positive, sustainable impact that mirrors the love and teachings of Christ, and our proactive approach is creating powerful ripple effects across all of our provincial partners.

The foundation of SWAAG is built on the pillars of unity, faith, and action. Our network is a vibrant tapestry of compassionate and strong women, devoted to bringing about transformative change in their respective communities.

SWAAG chapters are present in all provincial partners of BCTA, working tirelessly to enact programs and projects aimed at uplifting, educating, and empowering.

Our impact has been nothing short of incredible, thanks to the ceaseless dedication of the women involved. We have spearheaded initiatives that have fostered education, health, social and economic development, and spiritual growth. Each project is an expression of our commitment to serving God through serving others, making the world a brighter place one act at a time.

The success and expansion of our Women’s Ministry have been fueled by the commitment of our leaders, a group of driven women who are pillars of their communities. Leading the pack is our esteemed National President – Dr. Sudhi Nath, an eminent Public Health Specialist, whose visionary leadership continues to steer SWAAG towards making significant strides in community service. She is joined by Mrs. Ranjana Pradhan, our worthy Vice-President, who brings with her, experience and unparalleled spiritual drive. Ms. Sushma Ramswami – Secretary & Treasurer of the National Chapter of SWAAG is a gifted organiser, committed worker and dedicated administrator.

A diverse team of provincial heads drive the mission of SWAAG in their respective provinces. Each one of them, along with their dedicated teams, works with fervor and faith to bring about changes that matter.

Our dedication is reflected in our community projects. From organizing health camps and educational workshops to creating skill development programs and self-sufficiency initiatives, we strive to improve lives while nurturing spiritual growth. The heart of SWAAG beats within every project, echoing our commitment to faith, service, and action.

The SWAAG family is a collective of women who are not just followers of Christ, but true servants in their communities. We are inspired daily by the resilience, courage, and strength of these women, and their actions never fail to inspire others.

Join us, as we continue to be a force for good, making meaningful strides in serving our communities. We believe that through our collective strength and God’s grace, we can inspire and effect positive change that resonates beyond our immediate surroundings. Let’s create a world where love, kindness, and faith are the prevailing forces.
